Raised in Cairns, Dion adopted a mindset of making a masterpiece out of nothing that affected his creativity as a photographer. Since 2019, Dion has been based out of Brisbane and 2024 been a regularly traveler and attendee to Tokyo.

Dion believes Brisbane has a potential that people only tap into enough to get them to the bigger spaces, and wants to connect that with the creavity diversity and niche-focused mindset of the Japanese artistic scene.

His work dabbles in the surreal, regularly simplifying colours next to a dream-like state to connect the viewer to the focus of the work on a sub-conscious level. He focuses on Runway and Fashion photography, but takes an artistic approach as means to echo the message of the artist without capturing it in it’s normal state.
